Overview Serve as the on-site leadership figure overseeing Prysmian's scope of work for the SuedOstLink HVDC underground cable corridor in Southern Germany. Manage activities from execution through commissioning, ensuring safe, timely, high-quality delivery in alignment with client expectations and corporate standards. Key Responsibilities:Site Oversight & Project Execution Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of site activities—including cable laying, jointing, testing, commissioning—within budget, schedule, and contractual requirements Scope Management & Delivery Own the site delivery of Prysmian's systems: ±525 kV HVDC extruded cables, P-Laser insulation technology, PRY-CAM monitoring setup, accessories, and civil interface coordination Interface with Client & Stakeholders Serve as the main point of contact for TenneT, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders; manage communications, approvals, progress reviews, and issue resolution Local Operations Leadership Lead local teams (site engineers, jointing crews, logistics coordinators) and coordinate with manufacturing sites (e.g., Gron, Livorno), engineering, R&D, and HQ Logistics & Permitting Management Organize the transport of oversized cable drums (up to 70 t) from intermediate storage through German corridors, securing necessary permits, simulating routes, and coordinating logistics surveys Quality, HSE & Compliance Uphold Prysmian's quality standards and HSE protocols on site; ensure compliance with project delivery plans and sustainability goals (e.g., use of recyclable P-Laser technology) Progress Tracking & Reporting Implement and monitor KPIs, site progress metrics, cost control, schedule adherence; prepare and deliver reports to the PMO and client, flagging issues early Change Management & Risk Mitigation Manage scope changes, negotiate variations, resolve delivery issues, and proactively mitigate site risks through contingency planning. *******************************************************************Required Experience & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or similar; PMP or equivalent certification preferred Experience: 5+ years in project management of EPCI or site delivery projects within energy, civil, or infrastructure sectors. Proven track record in HVDC cable or large-scale underground installations; experience with Prysmian's technologies (P-Laser, PRY-CAM) is a strong advantageStrong leadership, negotiation, and communication. Proactive planning, logistical coordination, and problem-solving capabilities. Fluent in English; German language skills beneficial. Location & Duration Based in the Bayreuth/Würzburg/Bavaria region, close to the SuedOstLink southern corridor. Duration is for the next 2+ Years.
