We are currently seeking an Operations Technology Cyber Security Engineer (OT CSE), reporting directly to the Information Security Project Manager to join our Information Security team based in Houston, TX Operating Center.

T.EN approaches Cybersecurity and, more largely Information Security, in a global way. The governance is central. Team members are located worldwide.

Inside these teams, the OT Cybersecurity Engineers (OT CSE) play a particular role. They are onboarded in the industrial projects that T.EN performs for its Clients, address the business aspects of the domain and contribute to securing the systems being delivered. Internally, they work collaboratively with the Telcommunications, Instrumentation, Systems packages and rotating engineers for the project.

For the entity of Houston Operation Center, T.EN offers the successful candidate to join an international and dynamic career as an OT CSE for at least a 1 - 2 year assignment starting in Q3 2025 with the possibility of extension as a temporary to direct hire position.

About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission, the main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following requirements:
  • Contribute to proposing an Operational Technology (OT) Information Security strategy for the project to planning and supporting activities.
  • System integrator for the vendor IT management work scopes on the projects in reviewing the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and implementation requirements.
  • Advise on commercial offers and assist the Information Security Project Manager in the decision making based on your technical knowledge.
  • Participate in ad-hoc activities such as OT Cybersecurity Incident management and security audits.
  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to safeguard networks, systems, and data.
  • Monitor security infrastructure for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents in real-time.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and audits.
  • Collaborate with IT vendors and project engineers within specific disciplines to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security systems, procedures, and protocols.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Analyze project documentation and technical cybersecurity specifications in preparation for vendors of Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Define system requirements, perform risk assessment and review vendor document for implementation of OT Cybersecurity measures
  • Additional activities include reporting, audits, training, testing and incident management within operational technology cybersecurity.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or Operations Technology activities within the energy or industrial LNG sector
  • Must have knowledge and/or experience of ISA / IEC 62443 series of standards
  • Prefer degree or certification in IT, Cybersecurity, Technology, Instrumentation and/or Telecommunications

Languages: Fluent in English

Main skills:
  • Ability to work in a global multicultural environment with a growth mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication to explain strategic point of view to non IT/ OT practitioners
  • Effectively coordinate with technical engineers autonomously to problem-solve
  • Must have business experience with clients, contracts and costs
