On behalf of our client, TWS is currently seeking a bilingual Piping Specialist, reporting directly to Head of Construction- Americas to join our site team based in Ensenada, Mexico for a six (6) month duration.

About the role:

As a field Piping Specialist, youll be at the heart of our construction operations, ensuring the seamless installation of piping systems in accordance with project specifications and drawings. Your role will be pivotal in driving quality, safety, and efficiency across all phases of piping execution.

Employment Type: Full-Time 55 hours per week / Fixed-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast, plan, and schedule piping activities to meet project milestones.
• Coordinate installation sequences to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with Area and Construction Managers to assess resource needs.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with contract documents.
• Supervise subcontractors to uphold safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and enforce project-specific requirements.
• Support schedule development and short-range planning down to the foreman level.
• Document scope changes and manage change orders effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and recommend construction methods and equipment.
• Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and safeguard project assets.

What You Bring?

• Bilingual ability to speak in both Spanish and English
• Minimum 10 years' proven experience in piping installation and construction coordination in oil & gas, petrochemical or large scale industrial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
