Star Service ofHouston, the leadingHVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast, is looking for anexperienced Nested HVAC Industrial Technician to join our on-sitemaintenance team in the San Antonio, TX area!

As a "nested" IndustrialTechnician, you will be providing dedicated HVAC support to ensure reliableclimate control and air quality for critical refinery operations. This roleinvolves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial HVAC systems ina demanding, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical HVAC issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and work performed.
• Collaborate with refinery operations and maintenance teams to plan and execute HVAC-related projects and shutdowns.
• Adhere strictly to all site-specific safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industrial/commercial HVAC maintenance experience (refinery or petrochemical environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of chillers, air handlers, split systems, package units, controls, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments, including at heights and in confined spaces.
• High school diploma or GED required.
