Internal Recruiter - Electrical, HVAC & Plumbing

Location: Austin, TX

IES Residential is looking for a motivated Internal Recruiter to help us find and hire the best talent in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. You'll be the first point of contact for candidates - creating a great experience and connecting them with a company where they can build a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing roles.
• Screen applications, interview candidates, and keep them updated throughout the process.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and assist with interviews.
• Provide hiring managers with timely updates on candidate pipelines.
• Represent IES at job fairs, trade schools, and industry events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Internal Recruiter or similar role (construction/trades recruiting a plus).
• Skilled at building relationships with candidates and team members from all backgrounds.
• Strong interviewing skills - phone, video, and in-person.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
• Positive attitude and ability to match the right talent to the right role.
• Strong online sourcing skills (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter).
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (travel may be required).
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
