This critical role involves leading projects from development to delivery, through construction and commissioning, ensuring a smooth handover to operations.Location:Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney. This position requires frequent travel and time away from home.Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee designated construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Contractor and Advisor Management: Build strong relationships with contractors and other delivery partners, driving performance and fostering a collaborative environment. Stakeholder Management: Maintain transparent and trustworthy relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Leadership: Lead and inspire project teams, promoting a positive and proactive work culture. Health, Safety & Environment: Implement and adhere to safety policies, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.Skills and Experience: 7+ years' experience in the development and delivery of large infrastructure projects, preferably in power or renewable energy. Proven track record managing large projects through all phases of construction. Strong experience in contract management and project controls. Excellent understanding of health and safety management in construction projects. Familiarity with Australian environmental and planning regulations is a plus.Qualifications: Graduate degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related technical discipline. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is desirable. Full driver's license is required.Personal Competencies: Excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Leadership skills with a focus on results and accountability.
