Subsea7 currently have a requirement for a Sustainability Analyst to join our Corporate Sustainability team on a full-time basis. Reporting into the Group Sustainability Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the further integration of Sustainability into Subsea7's business operations and decision-making, creating long-term value for both Company and its wider stakeholders.

This role will support Subsea7's sustainability initiatives through continuous development and deepening our understanding of sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities across Subsea7 and enhancing internal engagement. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly across teams, providing support where needed to accelerate progress on sustainability commitments. Responsibilities will adapt in line with evolving business priorities.



What will you be doing?


  • Collaborate with business functions to establish and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives that reflect the organisation's Values and objectives. This includes facilitating the progress of our sustainability focus areas through a structured approach looking at targets, actions and performance
  • Liaise with points of contact within regional teams and business functions to obtain or share appropriate information relating to sustainability initiatives and best practices
  • Continuously research current thinking and developments around sustainability, emerging trends and best practices to inform strategy
  • Enhance internal awareness of our sustainability efforts through targeted communication strategies, including the development of training materials and informative content
  • Support the identification and evaluation of sustainability-related risks and opportunities that may affect the organisation's long-term resilience and reputation, including analysis of regulatory developments and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Contribute to the development of our annual sustainability statement and related reports or presentations for internal stakeholders, investors, clients or regulators to highlight the organisation's progress against sustainability goals
  • Support our engagement with various external stakeholders including ESG ratings companies, investors and industry initiatives
  • Participation in sustainability projects aligned with legislation and key industry frameworks
  • Support Net Zero strategies by contributing to the development of carbon management plans through research and evaluation of client and peer transition strategies, assessing both risk and opportunities
  • Assist in greenhouse gas emissions tracking, accounting and reporting in alignment with the GHG Protocol and evolving regulatory standards.




What experience would we like you to have?


  • Degree qualified desirable (preferably with management/business focus)
  • Methodical and structured mindset who is driven by understanding and simplifying complex subjects
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Inquisitive and solution-oriented - able to identify opportunities and offer suggestions to advance plans
  • Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines
  • Good attention to detail is essential
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and manage time effectively

Preferred working location is within the UK, however we will consider other candidates within a similar time zone.
