Description

Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled HVAC Technician who specializes in replacing and installing major components like coils and compressors in residential systems. In this role, you'll handle the heavy-hitting repairs that keep systems running at their best, while also stepping in to assist with service and maintenance calls when needed. This position is perfect for a technician with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing quality work the right way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, replace, and service residential HVAC coils and compressors to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Diagnose issues with coils, compressors, and refrigerant lines, ensuring long-term system reliability.
  • Perform brazing, soldering, and piping modifications as required.
  • Conduct evacuations, charging, and system performance testing.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal codes as well as company safety policies.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and site conditions.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and team members about job progress and findings.
  • Maintain organized tools, equipment, and workspaces.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC trade school or technical training preferred.
  • 2+ years of HVAC installation or service experience, with a focus on coils and compressors.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification required.
  • Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle, electrical components, and safety standards.
  • Skilled in brazing, soldering, and using HVAC diagnostic tools/meters.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar HVAC software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in tight spaces.
