The Team - your impact

Being aware of the enormous responsibility we have for our customers, our assets, and the environment, we are analyzing and developing solutions, utilizing advanced big data and machine learning technologies to provide the best service, improve the efficiency and make things smarter, better, and cleaner.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

• Act as a consultant and advisor to internal stakeholders, translating business problems into data science use cases and delivering impactful solutions
• Build sustainable relationships with stakeholders while showcasing capabilities and projects at internal and external events and conferences on a regular basis
• Steer end-to-end data science projects as a project manager, covering planning, execution, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed data science into business processes and digital products
• Design, implement, and validate machine learning and statistical models to address real-world business challenges
• Contribute actively to knowledge sharing and promote data science best practices within the organization
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in data science, machine learning, and AI (including Generative AI), applying them effectively in projects

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

• You have several years of experience in designing, delivering, and managing data science and machine learning solutions in a business context
• You bring a strong project management mindset and are capable of leading projects from concept to delivery, including budget, timeline, and resource planning
• You have successfully managed cross-functional project teams and understand how to coordinate different stakeholders in complex environments
• You feel confident applying ML algorithms and Generative AI and can clearly explain and justify your approach to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You're a proactive self-starter who can manage projects independently, prioritize tasks based on business impact, and follow through with clear accountability
• You bring hands-on experience working in project teams and deploying solutions. Solid skills in Python and SQL, and capability of building prototypes and production-ready code collaboratively is a strong plus
• You speak and write German fluently (minimum C1 level), enabling you to communicate confidently with stakeholders across the organization
