- Manage a construction team of welders, fabricators, riggers, and sandblaster painters at offshore facilities. Organize and monitor the safe execution of work by his own team. Take assignments and instructions from senior management and inform department management about the progress of work.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the construction, installation and repair work at offshore facilities:
- Assembly of metal structures and pipelines of various diameters from individual elements manually and using chain hoists, manual and electric cable blocks, jacks, stationary and mobile cranes, crane vessels.
- Assembly of individual units of metal structures and pipelines for welding according to drawings, assembly diagrams and process maps using universal and special devices and templates
- Management of welding and gas-flaming works.
- Adjustment of units of metal structures requiring increased accuracy of assembly works.
- Marking of places for installation of complex basic parts and units of metal structures.
- Assembly and disassembly of metal structures, pipeline units, pipeline system equipment, valves of all classes and sizes using chain hoists, manual and electric cable blocks, jacks, stationary and mobile cranes, crane vessels.
- Installation and removal of blocks, hoists, tackles, winches and jacks during assembly and disassembly work.
- Management of lifting operations during assembly and disassembly work in accordance with the procedures and sequence of work.
- Assembly, disassembly and welding work on scaffolding and platforms.
Education
Qualification Requirements:
- Secondary professional or basic professional education in the field of construction.
- At least 5 years of experience in installation and assembly of pipelines and structures.
- Diploma/certificate of a fabricator or welder.
- A level of English lower beginner.
