Lead Agent - Technical Planning for GAJP is responsible for planning and coordination of principal components and blades activities.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Planning function in cross-functional forums with Service, Installation, and Commercial teams.
- Collaborate with SCM and Warehousing for timely material availability in line with maintenance forecasts and turbine uptime goals.
- Responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of principal component and blade-related activities within GAJP's Technical Planning function.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical), preferably with a focus on wind energy or industrial operations.
- 8+ years of experience in service operations, technical planning, or operations management in a renewable energy or heavy engineering environment.
- Prior leadership experience in managing multi-country teams or regional operations.
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and planning tools; Salesforce is an advantage.
- Experience working with 2MW, 4MW or higher wind turbine platforms (Vestas preferred).
- Strong understanding of entitlement models, service contracts, and customer-specific clauses.
- Proficient in English; additional languages such as Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese are advantageous.
- Will need to do all operations in Japan.

- Strategic Planning Acumen - Ability to plan regionally while optimizing local execution needs.
- Solid knowledge of turbine components, service requirements, and planning tools.
- Strong discipline in following and enforcing standardized processes.
- People Leadership - Ability to lead diverse, remote, and cross-cultural teams with empathy and clarity.
- Commercial Awareness - Understanding of cost, revenue, and contract implications of planning decisions.
- Actively identify inefficiencies and lead improvements in planning practices.
- Plan with a mindset of maximizing turbine availability and minimizing service disruptions.
