As an Area Supervisor you will work with multiple departments across Vestas globally and support our colleagues and customers in making Vestas operations teams perform at the highest level. This role is vital in developing our service leadership, support and giving direction to the local Field Supervisors and technicians that form your wider team. You will report to the Area Manager of Finland working closely with the customer service team and internal planning functions to achieve your objectives, KPI's and customer satisfaction.
As an Area Supervisor you will be the immediate manager for a group of Field Supervisors in Finland North.
Responsibilities
As an Area Supervisor you have the responsibility of supervising the performance and reporting of your area. Coordinating both operational and management aspects cross-functionally to improve both customer and employee experience.
You will lead your organization and changes in the area to improve safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction.

Location: The location of this position is in Vaasa or any Vestas Service Warehouse location in Finland North.
The role will require travelling for about 60-90 days per year, mainly in Finland.

You will lead your organization and changes in the area to improve safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, responsibilities will include:
- Execution of the strategy by setting operational goals for the operational units under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize on safety, quality and cost
- Supervising and building a motivated and successful team of Field Supervisors in close collaboration with the Area Manager and the Area Supervisor in Finland South.
- Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements
- Seeking ways to improve collaboration cross functionally
- Ensuring effective communication in the organization
Qualifications
- Several years of proven people management experience, for instance of leading leaders
- Educational background within business or technical field
- Experience of change management and performance management. You will have proven solid organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and change focus as per the needs of the business.
- Experience in directing improvements through defining effective business cases. Proven experience with having had own economical responsibility
- Safety minded.
- Fluency in Finnish and English. Swedish considered an advantage.
- You will have highly developed communications skills. Confident, clear and effective with your communications at all levels.
Competencies
- You will have previous management experience directing multi layered teams within an operational environment. Comfortable with achieving and knowing how to get results through others including taking the tough discussions
- You have a professional mindset, to ensure sustainable growth and high-quality performance in the team. You can demonstrate excellent stakeholder management at various levels
- You can demonstrate solid business understanding and know what it means to be "customer centric"
- You are able to combine attention to detail with effective decision making. Organized, with the ability to prioritize a range of tasks, along with a solid attention to detail
