Monmouth University is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving, NIL, and Revenue Generation. This position plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Monmouth Athletics through donor engagement, fundraising, alumni relations, and community outreach. The Senor Associate Athletic Director will work closely with the Director of Athletics and the Division of University Advancement to grow revenue in annual giving, marque events, NIL opportunities, and Blue/White Club membership so as to enhance the visibility and support of the Athletic Department.
The Senior Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving, NIL, and Revenue Generation is a member of the Director of Athletics' Senior Leadership team and will have administrative oversight of select sport programs.
The Senior Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving, NIL, and Revenue Generation is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures governing the Department of Athletics and University Advancement, as well as any applicable rules and regulations associated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Coastal Athletics Association (CAA), the Northeast Conference, or any other conference or organization with which the University is or becomes associated at a future time.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Outreach and Engagement. Assist the Director of Athletics with outreach and engagement efforts. Assist on game days with donor relations and customer service needs. Must be available to work games, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned. Work closely with head coaches to support Game Day activities, especially as they relate to community/alumni relations and resource development.
- Giving. Assist with preparation of an annual fundraising work plan outlining strategic initiatives, correlating gift table, and prospect pipeline to successfully reach annual donor and dollar goals. Assist with establishing annual departmental goals based on donor history, prospect indicators, departmental needs, and revenue opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with University Advancement to expand and integrate Athletics into university-wide fundraising campaigns, including crowdfunding efforts and the Annual Giving Days Campaign.
Resource Development.
- Provide oversight for sport-specific giving, including clubs, excellence funds, and business relationships related to student-athlete NIL and revenue-sharing.
- Serve as the liaison to the Monmouth Athletics Blue/White and Varsity Club as well as the Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving.
- Oversee all aspects of premium seating including football and basketball suites, Beer Gardens, and club seats/level.
Support the organization and operationalization of the following marque events:
- University Athletics Hall of Fame; Annual Athletic Department Fundraisers including: the Student-Athlete Awards Show; Annual Blue/White Club barbeque, University Golf Outing, Homecoming, and others.
- Coordinate with the Advancement team on special events focused on stewardship and donor recognition, team/program reunions, and game day hospitality.
Additional duties to include:
- Collaborate with the administration to develop key performance indicators based upon current needs, historical information, and overall funding priorities of the Athletic Department, as well as the mission of Monmouth University.
- Meet regularly with the Director of Athletics, University Advancement, Varsity Club Executive Committee, as well as the University Pub Committee to discuss current concepts, strategies, and other events related to the Athletics Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of five years of successful experience in fundraising
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Familiarity with collegiate athletics and basic understanding of NCAA rules and regulations
- Excellent organizational and budget management skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work an irregular schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Able and willing to travel
- A valid driver's license in your state of residence and have had no serious violations (Type A) within the past five (5) years and no more than three (3) moving violations (Type B) in the past three (3) years. University Policy found here: Monmouth University Vehicle Use Policy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree
- More than five years of progressive experience in collegiate administration or athletics, with an emphasis on fundraising and revenue generation
- Experience in the management and stewardship of premium seating including suites and club seating
- Previous experience with campus boosters and fan groups
- Experience working with diverse populations
