As QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality, health & safety, and environmental policies across the organization

Function description

You will lead QHSE specialists across various business units, foster engagement, and raise awareness among all employees. Acting as the primary point of contact for management, auditors, and external stakeholders, you will ensure the organization consistently meets the highest standards in quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QHSE strategy across the organization.
• Advise leadership on risk management, compliance, and industry standards.
• Maintain and improve the QHSE Management System and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead audits and manage corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Monitor, analyze, and report QHSE performance, including management reviews.
• Coach and oversee QHSE professionals to foster a strong safety culture.
• Align QHSE policies with business operations to ensure practicality and commercial viability.

Requirements

• Higher professional education (HBO), preferably in Higher Safety Science (HVK) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of QHSE experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with integrated management systems and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
• Analytical, results-driven, and experienced in leading improvement initiatives.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel to international project locations.
• Preferred: experience in engineering, maritime, offshore, or construction sectors, and familiarity with ISM and other
