Sr. Data Consultant is responsible for the development and stewardship of Data Management practices throughout projects and the department. Oversees information systems/Data Management objectives throughout projects' lifecycle. Leads the management of project data, data integration, exchange and integrity, and coordination with other disciplines for a successful data-centric delivery.
The Role
Responsible for managing engineering data across the project lifecycle, including ECM, CAD, EDW, and Digital Twin integration. Leads process development, data flow optimization, and quality management. Provides guidance, resolves data issues, and ensures data integrity to support project success.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expert knowledge of the engineering project lifecycle and project data management practices.
- Expert knowledge of Electronic Content Management (ECM), Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems, industry standards and specifications, engineering and construction practices.
- Expert knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or expert knowledge of database management & administration.
- Expert to run appropriate processes to periodically extract data from the various data sources and transfer the data efficiently to the Project's Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) and Digital Twin
- Provide direction with the scoping, strategy, and development of processes and application interfaces that will enhance the productivity and efficiency of data flow on the Project
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction to less experienced resources to ensure they meet project deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze facts or transactions to resolve problems and to determine action to be taken within the limits of standard practice and be innovative to come up with solutions for issues/problems.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve data related issues and problem and promote process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to support the project in the design, configuration, implementation and support of interfaces, to ensure data integrity and management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with good vocabulary, good grammar and the ability to independently compose routine written communications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Quality Management-Ability to look for ways to improve and promote data quality and make recommendations for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:
- Bachelors with ten plus years or Masters with eight plus years of experience in data management with particular focus on data maintenance, mining, modeling and warehousing. Experience with engineering deliverables is required.
- Must have CFIHOS / JIP36 Configuration & Implementation experience
- Building and setting up RDL and Class Library for projects.
- Supporting and maintaining RDL and Class Library for projects.
- Data validation per RDL
- Dashboard and reports development for Engineering Data.
