Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support various client site locations and buildings across the Permian Basin. This position will perform basic maintenance duties including, but not limited to, basic repairs, preventative maintenance, work orders, environmental upkeep, and grounds maintenance across client sites. This is a public environment located along the Permian Basin and surrounding areas with the corresponding levels of traffic (employees, visitors, customers, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Basic repairs: Fixing minor plumbing leaks, replacing light bulbs, patching drywall, repairing minor electrical issues, replacing door hardware, and simple carpentry work.
  • Preventative maintenance: Performing routine inspections on HVAC systems, checking fire alarms, lubricating machinery, cleaning drains, and monitoring building systems for potential issues
  • Work order management: Responding to maintenance requests, identifying issues, and completing assigned work orders within set time frames.
  • Cleaning and upkeep: Maintaining general cleanliness of common areas, including sweeping floors, removing trash, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Grounds maintenance: Basic landscaping tasks like trimming hedges, removing debris and snow removal.
  • Inventory management: Maintaining proper stock levels of maintenance supplies and tools.
  • Pool vehicle maintenance: Perform pool vehicle check list and maintenance on Office services vehicles.
  • Safety compliance: Adhering to company safety protocols and reporting potential hazards.
  • Reception duties: Front desk coverage when needed, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, directing them to the appropriate person.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years directly related maintenance experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years in order to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
  • Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance programs, facility and equipment maintenance practices
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder, twist, crawl, and jump.
  • Strong customer and people skills are essential.
  • Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Weather: Indoors and outdoors, frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Noise level: Moderate to Loud.

Description of environment: Environment will vary between indoor office environment to outdoor oil field.

Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently to constantly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

Travel: Frequent travel within the Permian Basin and surrounding area is required. Company vehicle is provided.
