JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for Walkdown Coordinator with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join our team in Tengiz, Kazakhstan (28/28) (for KZ passport holders).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Walkdown Coordinator will be responsible and accountable for supporting the Systems Completion Manager in scheduling, managing and leading Constructions MC and RFSU walkdowns. WD coordinator will ensure that required documentations are prepared and available before walkdowns

Must be familiar with:

• RoK legislation and other regulations applied within this position and assigned duties (laws, rules, regulations, provisions, instructions, standards and specifications)
• Specific nature of field operations, existing plants, power supply system and utilities, automation, storage

Responsibilities:

• Manage punch list management, handover management and mechanical completion
• Ensure systems boundary and scope relevant engineering drawings are available along with other requirements before walkdowns
• Schedule MC and RFSU walkdowns in liaison with Contractors and PMT
• Facilitates pre-walkdown meetings to ensure all participants are aligned on the scope and expected outcome of the scheduled walkdown as detailed in the procedures.
• Manage multi-disciplinary Walkdowns (both pre-MC, MC and RFSU) based on walkdown scope
• Manage and facilitates post-walkdown meetings to categorize identified punch list items and finalize them as per the procedures
• Managing punch list items input into Database from walkdowns
• Interface with the Construction and SC Execution Team and Operations /OPS to ensure all Walkdown Punch Items are closed based on aligned Construction and Commissioning priorities
• Manage Interface with Operations/OPS with regards to Walkdowns. Understands Operations requirements and ensure Operations personnel are familiar and understand the KSU Walkdown operating.=
• Manage punch closure prioritization for construction and commissioning
• Focal point for resolving issues and removing barriers across all functional teams
• Supporting during final PSSR Walkdown
• Supporting Project Team during transition between project phases (MC - RFSU, RFSU - RFO) and final handover to Operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Higher degree in engineering discipline preferably E&I discipline
• 5+ years of Certification/Turnover/Construction experience preferably with experience in WD
• Proficient in Microsoft software including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience in the use of the Project's Systems Completion Database (preferably IPIMS, Co-console MCPlus)
• An analytical mindset, strong excel and business intelligence skills and ability to apply detailed knowledge and experience in technology to streamline work process to increase efficiency and predictability
• Demonstrated success delivering all the requirements for completion including leading Punchlist closure, red lines, resolving engineering queries/discrepancies and supporting smooth and efficient turnover to operations
