POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose:
Manages the security of information systems and functions within Air Products Qudra, and provides expert consultancy and advice on cybersecurity topics to the organization’s leadership
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintain Compliance
Analyze the organization's cybersecurity defense policies and configurations to evaluate compliance with regulations and organizational directives. Evaluate cybersecurity aspects of contracts to ensure compliance with financial, contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.
Testing for Security Vulnerabilities
Develop security risk profiles of computer systems by assessing threats to, and vulnerabilities of,
Those systems. Enable effective remediation of vulnerabilities
Prepare Reports
Based on findings, shall write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
Produce Documentation
To ensure proper protocols and processes are in place, shall create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to server and security infrastructure.
Create and Maintain Cybersecurity Policies and related documentation
To lead in devising comprehensive network security policies which includes determining security issues that need to be addressed; identifying security strategies needed to deal with the risks; implementing policies for allocating administrative tasks; keeping on top of audit logs to flag suspicious activity; and devising network password procedures.
Manage Vendor Relationships
Keep strong relationships with integrators and vendors to maintain upgrades, installations, and planning alongside exploration of new features and innovative solutions.
Running regular checks on information security.
Identify opportunities to improve and update software and systems security and develop and implement IT security policy and best practice guides for the organization
Designing Cybersecurity training programs and workshops for staff
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT Cybersecurity projects and disseminating through conducting trainings and workshops.
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic cybersecurity solutions in time
Hardware and Software Security
Responsible for the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of many different pieces of network and security-related hardware and software. These include firewalls, routers, switches, various network-monitoring tools, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in Engineering (Preferably Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Systems Engineering) Preferably with IT certification and with five to ten years of experience in the field. With hands-on training, especially for specific processes and software. A strong multitasker, thinks proactively to get ahead of issues before they arise. Highly organized and thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments. Enterprise firewall experience – experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices is important in this role Adaptability – requires flexibility and adaptability and should be comfortable working in a matrixed IT environment Problem-solving skills –to solve problems related to security incidents that can happen at any time by research, escalating, and resolving issues effectively Excellent knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure and cybersecurity Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity. Excellent Communication & coordination skills. Able to handle high level communication with customer Fluent oral English and excellent written English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
