MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – OIL & GAS - KUALA LUMPUR

Airswift is seeking for a Maintenance Engineer to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for our key client within the Oil and Gas (Upstream) sector.

The Client
A world leading offshore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company that have been awarded a key large scaled offshore oil and gas projects with presence in over 70 countries.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the reliability analysis, equipment criticality assessment and maintenance plan development.
• Supporting the Lead Maintenance Engineer in reviewing the project technical documentation in respect to the contractual requirements
• Prepare the maintenance engineering execution plan with the assistance of the Lead Maintenance Engineer
• Gather maintenance related design data from technical disciplines and vendors to build-up a comprehensive plant asset register which includes all the maintainable equipment,
• Develop Maintainable Equipment List (MEL) hierarchically and organized by functional locations
• Plot and plan 3D model design review and performing equipment criticality analysis (ECA) to rank item listed in MEL in view of safety, environment, production requirement.
• Collect project data and maintainability figures to perform the risk and reliability analysis, RCM, planning maintenance strategies, procedures, and tasks according to either the original equipment manufacturer data or the results of the performed reliability centered maintenance analysis.
• Developing maintenance and inspection plans, as part of an EPC project, with the assistance of the Lead Maintenance Engineer.
• Responsible for 3D Model Review with focus on Operability and Maintainability Review as well as the recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL) and Operating Supplies List (OSL) preparation

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance and Reliability preferably with International EPC Companies within Oil & Gas industry
• Familiar with Maintainable Equipment List (MEL), equipment criticality analysis (ECA), operability and maintainability analysis and developing maintenance and inspection plans will be advantageous
• Open to travel abroad to offices and operation site
