> Airswift is seeking an accomplished Field Business Manager with expertise in overseeing construction projects to join one of our clients in the oil and gas sector.

Key objectives:  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, commercial management, and project leadership, particularly in large-scale Oil and Gas construction projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive results through strategic insights, leadership, and meticulous execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership and Management:

• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders and clients, addressing concerns and fostering strong relationships.

2. Contract Administration and Financial Management:

• Manage contract administration processes, including drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on cost planning, budget control, procurement strategies, and valuation of work.
• Evaluate tenders, bids, and change orders, negotiate favourable terms and manage project financials.

3. Commercial Strategy and Analysis:

• Collaborate with legal, financial, and compliance teams to ensure contracts meet industry standards and legal requirements.
• Perform financial analysis, reporting, and earned value progress updates for effective project tracking.

4. Client Relationship Building:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, offering exceptional commercial advice and exceeding expectations.
• Manage client expectations, maintain open communication, and contribute to enhancing client relationships.

5. Dispute Resolution and Claims Management:

• Handle contractual and commercial claims strategically, seeking optimal resolutions.
• Manage disputes while adhering to contractual requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in legal, contract administration or quantity surveying or related field
• Has experience as Business Manager in the oil and gas construction industry.
• Experienced in contract and financial management.
• Possess project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Compliant with HSEQ in construction safety regulations and company policies.
• Has strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills.
