Primary purpose of job

1-Develop, implement and execute environmental compliance programs and perform surveillance and audit of the lessees and ensure compliance to environmental regulations,procedures, permits and management plans. 2-Review and evaluate environmental related projects, processes and reports in timely manner.

Experience & Skills

• Preferably 8-10 year experience of environmental related experience. Environmental consultancy or regulatory agency with 3-5 years' experience at middle management level preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or heavy industries. • Technical understanding of industrial processes, environmental modeling techniques and software, preferably familiar with local. regional and related international regulations and standards. • Problem solving, decision making, strong communications and interpersonal skills, negotiation and organizational influence skills. • Fluent in English. • Proven ability to organize, motivate and supervise multi-disciplinary team. • Proven ability in writing procedures and plans.

Education

-Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. -Professional certification or license from a credible environmental or related association, society an advantage.
