Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Commissioning – Project Engineer with FPSO project exposure to consider a 2-year contract with one of our clients for Singapore and China.
Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the Project Engineer will apply expert engineering knowledge and seasoned project / site experience to support the successful commissioning of any projects (FPSO/FSO/TLP) including hull/topsides/mooring facilities right from preparation phase to execution phase.

Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma holders in suitable Engineering discipline
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years work experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO projects.
- Have proven project engineering experience with the integration, commissioning, and start-up of major greenfield oil & gas projects, preferably FPSO’s.
- Experience with complex module construction and commissioning across various geographical locations.
- Work experience within strict regulatory environments, particularly the Brazilian regime
- High safety awareness is mandatory.
- Significant knowledge of multiple technologies, projects and applications.
- Experience with large construction projects systems completions approach.
- Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion, Project Management (MS Project / P6) and General computer literacy (MS office).
- Shows evidence of good Organizing / Management skills.
- Demonstrate ability to take lead.
- Good communication skills.

- Ability to work independently.
- Responsible for managing all Commissioning Support services, including issuance of Procedures, specifications, preparation of Commissioning Plan, and expediting.
- Responsible to work with planner & prepare Commissioning Execution schedule in consultation Commissioning leads.
- Responsible to develop required specification and Coordinate for set up of contract for Integrity Leak test / Oil flushing services, Technician Manpower supply, temporaries (Load Bank, Temp Generators etc) required for Commissioning support etc.
- Responsible to work with and coordinate Supplier call out Coordinator & prepare Supplier call out plan and preparation of list / procurement & testing equipment tools with the Commissioning leads.
- Overall responsible to manage the commissioning Support services team to support Supplier mobilization, material procurement, commissioning schedule update etc.
- Assist in preparation of commissioning schedule and manpower estimates.
- Development of commissioning progress reporting and measurement formats including KPI measurement.
- Project reporting on ongoing status of commissioning deliverables and overall commissioning progress.
- Interaction with multi-discipline team members to determine areas of concern and focus.
- Assist in preparation of commissioning deliverables as required (e.g.): Systems, sub-systems boundary drawings using software tools (Bluebeam)., sub-systems list, etc.
- Preparation of key project commissioning documents
- Coordination of vendor and 3rd party call out plans.
- Participate in the ongoing development and populating of the mechanical completion (MC) database.
- Assist in preparation of MC and commissioning dossiers for review and sign-off.
- Support in developing project deliverables as per project & client requirements.
- Compliant and implementation of the company’s HSEQ policies to the team and meet overall HSEQ objectives in all projects.
- Participate in Project meetings.
- Perform duties as per directives of reporting authority.
- Day to day Planning of work, manage schedule & targets of the project as required.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to obtain missing details, documents, clarifications, and to close out any technical queries related to commissioning.
- Lead the commissioning feedback requirements to/from various site construction teams.
- Willingness to work and train others in a team environment, assisting other multi-cultural and interdepartmental team members.
- Ability to problem solve with or without the guidance of senior leadership.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Report development requirements of engineers / office facilities. Give feedback to reporting authority for improvements as required.
