NATURE & SCOPE
Empowered energetic leader responsible for making Air Products Qudra (APQ) the most secure industrial gases company to work for. This position reports to the HSSEQ Manager (Professional) & provides overall company security leadership to ensure compliance with corporate, local, provincial and national policies & governmental regulations.
The position will be responsible for promoting a security working habits, improving security performance, and implementing company strategies as it relates to security. In addition, the incumbent will assist with planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a wide variety of activities encompassing all aspects of security as well as all programs to assure the highest possible degree of security for our employees & facilities. This position is responsible for:
- The day-to-day management of security operations at the APQ facility.
- Review, develop, and publish processes to ensure the best response to a variety of incident types in collaboration with the Regional Risk, Crisis and Security Manager in consultation with the Global Security operation center.
- Ensuring documentation of incidents and prepare reports for global security leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Investigate and report on all security related incidents as per APQ Security Incident Reporting and Investigation Procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce cost with physical security technology, as well as process improvement.
- Manage the badge management program in the administration and creation of badges for the network for the MEET region. The position will be supporting the APQ Jubail Industrial Gas Hub, a world scale reformer (HYCO), a CO2 recovery unit, an Air Separation Facility, and all anciallary equipment associated with the facility.
- Ensure the standard and quality of the security function meets the required standards as per the APQ Industrial Security Division (ISD) KPI’s.
- Develop and provide a security performance dashboard to the APQ Plant Manager on a monthly basis.
- Maintain awareness of security events, incidents and developments occurring in the vicinity of project location, as well as within KSA and the wider Middle East Region.
- Establish and maintain links with the Civil Defence, Police, military, and Royal Commission Industrial Security Department.

- Ages between 18- 45 Years.
- High School certfcates is minmumm requirement.
- Medically Fit and pass drug test.
- 6 – 8 years of experience within similar role in the public or commercial security industry.
- An effective communicator verbally & written.
- Possess critical thinking skills and can build trust and confidence with frontline workers, supervisor and management.
- Confident and assertive with self-motivated approach and flexible attitude. Has the ability to overcome obstacles to solve problems to achieve results. Can cope with pressure and work to tight deadlines.

- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office with a good working knowledge of Excel.
- Good analytical skills and an understanding of quality assurance tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical security best practices to include but not limited to application of physical security systems, management of contract security guards and incident management and workplace safety.
- Considerable knowledge of state-of-the-art security technology including access control & CCTV systems. (Experience with the Access Control & Alarm Monitoring Systems is a plus).
