NFS Project

Part A: Job Specification

Job Purpose

Provides coordination of input and generation of routine and ad-hoc reports and presentations for use internally within the Project Management Team (PMT) and by Qatargas Management and Shareholders for NFXP Onshore Project.

Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but not limited to)

    Understand large databases of project activities related to project progress, schedule, cost, risk and other associated parameters and analyze and summarize the content & key messages fit-for-purpose for relevant internal/ external stakeholder.

    Assist and support the development of presentations to management and shareholders by providing accurate and reliable information.

      Develop a set of standard reporting tools,templates, procedures, guidelines and flow charts to suit project requirements and needs (dashboards, monthly, weekly, risk, action tracking and KPI reports).

Standardise reporting across EPC packages; forms, flow of information/data/ processes and provide a tool to the project team that utilises current information to enhance communication and support effective project execution.

Develop efficient reporting services and generate timely and accurate reports for the NFXP Onshore Project.

    Participate in corporate governance activities such as Gate reviews, Independent Project Reviews (IPR), Cold Eye Review (CER), Constructability Reviews (CRR) and internal audits as Reporting Subject Matter Expert.

    Provide timely planning, analysis and reporting expert advice to Project Management Team (PMT), highlighting any emerging situations requiring action to ensure project deliverables are achieved.

    Develop and implements reporting calendar to standardize reporting cuttoffs; report submissions timing for all PMT & Contractors team members. 

Reporting and Relationships


      Reports to Head of Reporting, Business


Internal - Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.  

Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal understanding, and self-confidence.

External -Regular contact with EPC Contractor/subcontractors and project stakeholders at site.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

    Role is located within NFS Business Team, that provides business & commercial management support for project implementation. Primary responsibility of the role is to be able to analyze large databases accurately and professionally in order to summarize and develop management reports with the right content & message fit-for-purpose for the target audience.  In addition, the role shall also identify, recommend and implement improvements in planning and reporting systems & processes as may be required. 

Part B: Candidate Specification - Minimum Requirements

Technical and Business Skills


      Excellent written and spoken English skills.


Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft office packages (excel, powerpoint and word) and some technical packages such as Power BI, Primavera etc.

Hands on experience in preparing presentations with Histograms, Line graphs, pie charts, water fall diagrammes, trend curves, etc.

Strong organisational, planning and presentation skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to influence others to ensure receipt of timely and accurate data.

Ability to review and question data to ensure accurate and quality input.

Qualifications

    Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Management.

Knowledge and/or Experience

    12 years' experience in project engineering or project controls such as planning and reporting working within a Project environment in the oil and gas industry and/ or in a globally renowned management consultancy practice. Advanced knowledge of management reports for large & complex projects and reporting systems.
