RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
- You will be highly involved in the interesting and challenging set up of our new Corporate & Business Solutions Center (CBSC) with the ambition of implementing our End to End transformation program (in the context of our ERP implementation) especially in regard to the Forecast to Control process. You will have a key role in streamlining the activities, improving synergies and reinforcing innovation and continuous improvement within the CBSC team.
- Prepare, review and challenge the quarterly Management Reporting process for the Fleet under Operation (SBMO) in expected timeframe and level of quality. Analyze the actual performance of projects/vessels/Shore bases and Departments and reforcast the yearly performance.
- Prepare the Financial sections of the quarterly reporting for Board of management (MOR)
- Monitor the 3 years Plan Process (Budget cycle).
- Prepare and review the quarterly structural costs cash planning submission to Treasury department.
- Enhance Management reporting process and improvement in particular through KPIs and dynamic analysis.
- Address non routine and complex transactions thanks to a solution provider approach
- Ensure compliance with internal control (ICOFR) and strive for continuous improvement of it.
- Participate to Company-wide transformation program on reporting dedicated information system tools and suggest innovative solutions.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders as part of the quarterly closing and budget cycle and provide ad-hoc analysis to SBMO Business controller and/or Finance Director when necessary.
- Liaise with external auditors as part of the year-end closing.
- Actively manages the SBMO Reporting team with a particular focus on training, coaching/guiding, appraising, and developing the individuals and their competencies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Specific skills / expertise / product:
- University Degree in Economics, Business school or equivalent finance degree with strong focus on financial reporting.
- 8 to 10 years in an international audit firm and/or in a reporting position in an international environment preferably in oil and gas business, with team management experience.
- IFRS knowledge (especially IFRS15 and IFRS 16)
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in IT tools, especially Business Object, SAP and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
- Understand complex transactions with ability to diagnose and make recommendations.
