Job Title: Safety Permits & Consent Coordinator

Location: London

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Work From Home: 8 days per month

We are currently seeking a qualified Safety Permits & Consent Coordinator to join our team in London. This role plays a pivotal function in the management and coordination of permitting and consent processes for both onshore and offshore energy projects within the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordination of Permitting and Consents: Oversee the comprehensive permitting and consents process, encompassing the acquisition of requisite approvals and permissions.
  • Software Management: Exhibit proficiency in managing the Westons PLANC software, a crucial component of our project management and compliance endeavors.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with various departments to ensure timely acquisition of permits, a critical aspect of project timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and external stakeholders, fostering alignment and project success.
  • International Experience: Leverage your experience in multinational FEED and execution projects to navigate the complexities of international energy endeavors.
  • Deliverable Management: Assume responsibility for the punctual issuance of project deliverables related to permitting and consents, serving as a cornerstone of our project scheduling.
  • HSE Regulatory Compliance: Provide expert advice to project teams on matters pertaining to health, safety, and environmental regulatory compliance, nurturing a secure and sustainable project environment.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Educational Background: Possess an environmental degree, constituting the foundational knowledge required for this role.
  • Oil and Gas Expertise: Demonstrate proven experience in working on oil and gas projects, signifying your adeptness in handling industry-specific complexities.
  • Versatility: Exhibit adaptability in both independent and collaborative team-oriented work environments.
  • UK Onshore and Offshore Proficiency: Hold prior experience in UK permitting and consents processes, encompassing both onshore and offshore contexts.
  • Decommissioning and CCS Acumen: Your experience in decommissioning projects and familiarity with Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) initiatives are valued assets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Possess strong interpersonal skills, vital for establishing productive relationships with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Technological Proficiency: Display proficiency in Microsoft Office, instrumental for documentation and communication.
  • Project Experience: Ideally, bring prior experience in managing or coordinating projects.
  • PLANC Software: Familiarity with Weston's PLANC management software is desirable.
