About this role: Scheduler
We are currently recruiting for a FIFO Project Scheduler based in the Pilbara region to work for an industry leader within the mining sector on an initial 12 month contract.
Working closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders with the business you will be responsible for delivering accurate and on time project control services on behalf of our client
You will have an excellent eye for detail with the ability to work with within a high performing project team helping team members and other internal stakeholders to understand impacts on future works and to establish program schedule reporting structures.
Duties:
- Maintain Level 2/3 schedule in Primavera P6
- Deliver accurate and timely project control services
- Analyse and report on overall progress and performance of the program, proactively work with project team and stakeholders to understand implications of deviations and mitigations for negative impacts on future works and key program and portfolio milestones
- Establish program schedule reporting structure and coding in line with portfolio requirements
- Provide functional support to Project Managers and Planners
- SPEAR management for resourcing
- Perform Schedule risk assessment and analysis
- Evaluate critical change impacts on schedule and implement approved changes
- Prepare and deliver stakeholder presentations on schedule and program performance
What you need to bring:
- Experience of using Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Excellent communication skills ability to work with stakholders from all backgrounds
- Ability to analyse program progress and performance
- Experience of working in and agile team
- Experience of working within the construction sector would be highly desirable
- Construction white card
- Current right to work in Australia - there is no possibility of visa sponsorship for this role
