About this role: Senior Project Manager

Seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Operations/Engineering and Project Management, especially in mine relocation or heavy industries. This role entails leading complex projects valued between $50M and $600M, ensuring successful delivery within established time, cost, and quality parameters.

• Lead, coordinate, and integrate all project activities, resources, and stakeholders to achieve project goals
• Implement project management best practices and improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee project safety, health, and environmental compliance
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and procurement processes
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure realistic timelines
• Identify and mitigate project threats and capitalise on opportunities
• Effectively manage changes to scope, cost, and schedule
• Ensure efficient construction, commissioning, and handover processes
• Conduct project performance reviews and closure activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders

What you need to bring:

• Engineering Degree with post-graduate business or project management studies preferred
• 15+ years of experience in Operations/Engineering and Project Management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Background in mine relocation or heavy industries
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
• Proven track record in successful project delivery
