About this role: Senior Permit Officer

Are you an experienced Permit Officer with a background in Commissioning? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Permit Officer to join our client on a FIFO basis, working on the Commissioning phase of the project. If you have 2-3 years of demonstrated Commissioning Permit experience and a background in electrical or mechanical trades, we want to hear from you. Process Operators with extensive Permit Officer experience are also encouraged to apply. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and mark up boundary isolations prior to energization, demonstrating a clear understanding of the interface between Construction and Commissioning.
• Actively participate in an integrated commissioning team with Operations, utilizing the Intelli permit system.
• Develop and hang permits as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Understand and implement HV/LV and mechanical/processing isolations effectively.

What you need to bring:

Skills and Experience:

• Looking for experienced Permit Officers that has at least 2-3 years of demonstrated Commissioning Permit experience.
• Trade background is preferred, however, Process Operators with extensive Permit Officer experience also encouraged to apply.
• Must have a very clear understanding and appreciation of the interface between Construction and Commissioning.
• Candidates must have a can do attitude and be very hands on and will actively participate in developing and hanging permits as required.
• Must have a good understanding of boundary isolations as well as HV/LV and mechanical/processing isolations.
