Fully remoteOur Client has an opportunity to join their team in Aberdeen, they are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Materials Handler on a permanent staff basis for thier facility in Dyce, Aberdeen.
You will be responsible for the accuracy and safe handling of physical material within our warehouse. Individuals are expected to verify, offload, receipt, put away, transfer, cycle count, pick, pack, post consume and goods issue physical inventory which is under the control of Hydril PCB Limited.
What you will be doing:
Verify that material arriving on site is intended for Hydril PCB Limited.
Confirm that material can be offloaded safely.
Offload material and locate within dedicated goods in location.
Goods receipt material into operating system using related purchase order information.
Perform put away transactions to appropriately locate material within warehouse.
Maintain stock control through accurate inventory movements and proactive cycle counting.
Pick inventory to support project order, work order and spares order requirements.
Ensure traceability of parts is captured during the pick process.
Pack material appropriately based on end location, locate within dedicated goods out location.
Support physical movement of orders once these become available to ship.
Perform goods issue transactions to reflect physical movement of goods.
Manage the customer signed proof of deliveries to provide solid archiving structure.
Ensure safe working conditions on site, use STOP WORK authority to avoid potential incidents.
What you should have :
Knowledge of WMS Warehouse Management System.
Ability to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Achieve results with minimum supervision.
PC Literate: Microsoft Software. SAP S/4 Hana ERP.
Understanding of offshore operations.
