Calling all Subsea Pipeline Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment are currently working with a world-leading subsea system and offshore pipeline engineering consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join their team. The selected candidate will join my client's team on a staff basis and will be required to operate flexibility, attending the South West London office on a hybrid basis, 3-4 days a week initially.

Our client:

Operating in the Oil and Gas industry, our client specialises in Engineering Subsea Solutions in some of the world's most challenging offshore environments. Some of their key services include project management, landfill design and geohazard assessment.

This position provides a fantastic opportunity to work on subsea pipelines for several clients and projects across the world.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating and developing digital designs, such as pipeline maps, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams.
• Managing the project workflow and budget.
• Preparing plans and specifications in accordance with acknowledged industry codes, standards and design guides, Client specifications and scopes of work.
• Understand the client's needs, identify, and address design parameters and problems
• Develop and implement solutions by proposing innovative solutions that reduce cost and risks.
• Actively participates to tender/project risk assessment and assess mitigation
• Interact with Supply Chain Engineers and Product lines for acceptable procurement of line pipe and other products.

Key requirements:

• Previous experience working on subsea pipelines on Offshore Oil and Gas projects, ideally at an intermediate level
• Ability to provide specialist skills in key areas of subsea pipeline engineering, including mechanical and integrity calculations for offshore pipelines in accordance to the relevant design codes.
• Can proactively and independently evaluate, organise, and prioritise workload.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well within a team.
