C&P Confirmed Method Engineer


Schedule: Office Hours

Bachelor's degree or equivalent certified experience. Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas industry with at least 3 years of experience in Methods and / or Audit and / or Consulting activities. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving , Planning and organization skills. Fluent in English & Arabic. Context and Environment: Contract and Procurement (C&P) stakeholders are operating internally and externally for a large multi-energy project. This involves interactions with various internal and external stakeholders such as: Affiliate Management and departments, as well as Total Headquarters and other International Oil Companies; Projects partners; Iraqi Authorities and all Service Contractors and Material Suppliers

Main accountabilities:

The job holder is responsible for the following:

Procedures, referential and templates.

• Organize, update and assist the Head of Methods in implementing procedures and work instruction related to supply chain activities
• Ensure consistency of Contracts and Procurement referential and its respect by users
• Manage standards documents from Headquarter (Terms and Conditions, standard contracts, etc.) and local requirements

Performance (Key Performance Indicators-KPI, Reporting, Controls)

• Support implementation of a set of local indicators to improve performance of the Supply-Chain
• Perform extract on SAP MM / BW modules and all related Supply chain tools to build and update KPIs
• Monitor KPIs results and do recommendations to improve results

Tools

• Take care of the implementation of SC tools and make sure of their efficient appropriation and use
• Responsible for the administration, support, training and adequacy of the business tools (SAP, E-SOURCING, etc.)
• Act as the representative for SAP tools within in the affiliate (i.e. lead users, key users, etc.) in coordination with Finance and technical representatives on C&P perimeter

Planning Activities

• Develop associated methodologies, processes, responsibilities to monitor Planning activities
• Responsible of the preparation, analysis, update and communication of the master procurement planning in alignment with the budget

Governance, Audit and Controls

• Organize, administrate, and monitor all internal Contract Committees and External Committees
• Responsible to animate and perform quality and activity controls for the purchase processes
• Monitor the actual performance on each C&P objective on regular basis and coordinate any follow-up actions plans
• Ensure the compliancy to Company rules and SOX requirement by performing all required Audits
• Organize and manage the Local onsite archiving system of GGIP external commitments

• Ensure that H3SE clauses are implemented in C&P documents and H3SE performance is followed up systematically
• Notify relevant staff on accidents, incidents and near-misses and initiating corrective actions
