Project Engineer - Permanent - Clean Energy - Surrey

My client is a global supplier of industrial gases and related equipment based in Surrey who are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to work on a number of projects on a staff basis.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Providing costed strategic options for evaluation with Business Managers for determining capital expenditure programmes
• Project management of major site developments controlling feasibility, scope, costs, timescales and resource requirements to meet business objectives
• Day to day supervision of workload and performance of junior engineers
• The successful candidate will be degree qualified in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and will be able to demonstrate their advanced Project Management experience.
• They will use their excellent communication and presentation skills when dealing with senior business leaders, operational management and shop floor personnel.
• They will also utilise their innovation & problem solving skills while working autonomously, implementing projects on site with low levels of line manger supervision.

The ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following:

• Full Chartered Engineer status
• Significant experience within process manufacturing environments
• Solid experience of managing capital equipment installations
