Job Description for Sr. Sales Representative – Global Bulk Chemical  

Location: Houston, TX Responsibilities:  

• This position will be focus on Global bulk chemical trading and distribution service, which will be the  

new product line that CP would like to promote.  

• Knowledge with global trading and distribution process  

• Specific product includes aromatic, methanol, MEG, petrochemical derivative, plastic, sulfur, PX,  

fertilizer etc.  

• Identifying potential customers and maintaining positive customer relationship  

• Help to negotiate the terms of contract  

• Provides customer with product price quotations, details regarding all parts available  

• Promotes and sells products accessories through suggestive sales techniques to meet and surpass  

profitability goals  

• Maintains appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts, territory potential, work load  

analysis, call programs and routes  

• Collects and reports competitive information to management  

• Gather market information and provide feedback on purchasing trends  

• Attends trade shows on behalf of company to present information regarding company products and  

services  

• Assists company in collections if need be, and prepares sales & analysis of products and perspective  

customers  

Skill & Knowledge:  

• 5+ years of global bulk chemical trading experience  

• Ability to travel to regional customer facilities  

• Strong skill in promoting products  

• Familiar with SAP (plus)  

• Familiar with Letter of Credit requirement (Plus)  

• Strong organizational and communication skills.  

• Quickly determine customer's need for product and services
