PROJECT INSPECTION LEAD (Procurement QC)

Seniority: Expert/Senior (Mgm skills min 8 year exp )

MISSION:

• Ensure execution of Quality Control activities on Purchased Goods and availability of relevant necessary documentation, in accordance with purchase order requirements/conditions and project procedures /contract, optimizing and minimizing costs.
• Ensure timely update of Company Information Tools/Systems (SAP) (either directly or by Inspectors) with the most reliable and up to date information on quality control and inspection activities (i.e. Inspection Report, Inspection Release Note)
• Coordinate efficiently and efficaciously internal Inspection Coordinators and Inspectors and/or Inspection Agencies in order to reach project goals by means of cost effective and result oriented solutions according to Company network synergies, best practices and procedures
• Be the focal point for Project Procurement Quality Control activities for stakeholders [internally (Project Manager, Material manager, etc..) and externally (Client, Vendors, etc)]

SKILLS:

1. Bachelor of Mechanical or metallurgical engineering or other relevant engineering degree.
2. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
3. ASNT Level II in RT,UT,MT and PT.
4. CSWIP 3.2 or AWS-CWI or another acceptable equivalent (approved by ADNOC).
5. Having a total experience of minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas Projects.
6. Strong Experience in Welding, NDT and Coating / painting.
7. Strong Supervisory, Coordination and Reporting Skills.
8. Fluent English language.
9. Strong Experience in Project Materials Procurement Inspections and tests relevant to ADNOC Standards / Specifications.
