Mechanical Engineer- Entry Level

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Energy clients to seek an Engineer / Technical Interface Coordinator to work in Brooklyn, NY, for an initial 1-year assignment.

Responsibilities:

The Technical interface coordinator shall actively contribute to engineering execution in accordance with scope, authority regulations, project specifications, standards, budget and schedule, i.e.:
Ensure multidiscipline approach, monitor interface engineering activities and report as required.
Establish and follow-up a meeting structure (internal and with Contractor).
Ensure that Company requirements and Authority requirements are understood by Contractor and implemented in the design.
Give input to the Project Risk register based on evaluated risks within the technical interfaces. Agree action plans with the relevant sub-projects and follow-up.
Contribute to implement and maintain established project work processes and system tool for interface.
Follow up progress reporting with focus on schedule-challenges and critical interfaces.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in engineering/interface coordination.
Good collaborator with strong written and oral communication skills.
Task oriented and organized.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
