Our client, a major O&G company, is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to work on a long-term contract in La Porte, Texas.

The QA/QC engineer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality
management system during the Execution and Commissioning Stage. As such, key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the development of the project Quality plan and supervision of all amendments and revisions;
• Responsible for the overall project QA/QC requirements;
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project
• Liaise with lead engineers and construction manager to identify the root cause of non-conformance items and implement the procedures for corrective action and prevention;
• Ensure that quality is fully integrated, in the project team and also within all the contractors' activities;
• Set up and maintain all Quality policies and guidelines for construction, commissioning and operational activities;
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements;
• Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the Project Team.
