Function description

As a QA engineer you work on improving the quality of tenders and projects. You manage the expectations and interests from a quality perspective of all parties involved, and work closely with the Project Managers.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of offshore facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to enhance the safety and performance of offshore operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for minimizing risks associated with offshore energy activities.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and technological advancements to ensure the company remains in compliance and utilizes the latest advancements in quality control.
• Provide timely and accurate reports to management on the status of quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quality assurance or a similar role within the offshore energy industry.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including API, ISO, and HSE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Internal and external audits (for example ISO 9001, ISO 3834, ISO 14001, VCA) resulting in improved Quality awareness and behavior and a decrease of incidents and accidents.
• Preparation of tender reviews and giving support of tender teams in quality matters
