Function description

• Responsible for monitoring compliance with legal requirements, maintaining authorized HSE documents, planning and executing HSE audits and inspections, preparing regular safety and environmental statistics, and conducting regular site inspections.
• Ensuring accurate records are maintained of all accidents, near misses, and other HSE records and statistics.
• Prepare the HSE Activity Schedule, advise the HSE Manager with regards to development of the Project HSE Plan, and lay down site rules and appropriate measures for ensuring co-operation between contractors.
• Proactively drive the company towards "Safety-Leadership" and "Quality Assurance" as integral parts of all worldwide activities. With your expertise, you'll help trigger people to work according to the company's Management System, ensuring that health, safety, and environmental recommendations are properly followed.

Requirements

• Nebosh or MVK or HVK.
• Offshore safety certifications (GWO or Bosiet).
• Fluent in Dutch. English language preferred.
• Marine background with experience in dredging and/or offshore.
• Good communication skills.

Because of the location and frequent work-related travels across Europe, an EU citizenship is required.
