Overview
We seek a Manufacturing knowledge Management Consultant to play a pivotal role in Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) organizations to lead GME global Knowledge Management initiatives.
Your primary role is to oversee the establishment of a Knowledge Hub and drive continuous improvement through expertise sharing across +75 Communities of Practice (CoPs) management and administration in line with the globally recognized best-in-class International Oil Companies (IOCs) knowledge management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Manage end-to-end knowledge capture processes from high-performing assets worldwide
Develop taxonomies and platforms to codify both explicit and tacit expertise
Re-establish, Administer, and Manage CoPs and expert forums to disseminate best practices rapidly
Benchmark manufacturing processes against industry-leading standards
Identify training needs and knowledge gaps to strengthen capabilities
Ensure integrated knowledge systems and digital tools are optimized
Report on metrics that demonstrate impact on operational excellence
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold an advanced degree in Engineering, Knowledge Management, or related field from recognized program.
You will have a minimum of fifteen years of experience leading knowledge initiatives in manufacturing.
Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) from the KMI is preferred.
You will have expertise in knowledge engineering, expertise mapping and learning systems
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to institutionalize continuous improvement culture
You will have track record of developing and applying taxonomies at scale
You will have experience designing and implementing integrated knowledge platforms
You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration and change management competencies
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus given global responsibilities.
