Brunel is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a contract role with our mining client. Position will be on a 4/1 rotation (for non-local candidates) located in Bagdad, Arizona.
Accurately measure and assess the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for mining activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Position offers a generous daily pay rate along with accommodations, travel, and monthly stipend for non-local candidates only. As a full-time contractor with Brunel, you are eligible for medical, dental and vision on your first day of employment. This contract position also comes with a 3% 401K match

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction and/or industry, with a strong focus on field operations.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make accurate projections. Strong problem-solving skills to address cost-related challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in quantity assessments and cost calculations.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers in a business environment: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, is essential.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with large copper production and related facilities
- Prior EPCM experience preferred
- Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors)
- Proficiency in quantity measurement techniques, cost estimation, and cost control methods. Experience with computer-aided quantity surveying software is advantageous.
