Job Duties/Roles:
  • Support projects associated with Corporate Technology or Technology & Business Development Departments as may be assigned.
  • Provide support in the area of rule and regulatory interpretations.
  • Act as a mentor, provide advice and expertise to Engineering departments.
  • Prepare and present training material to assist in educating ABS staff, support client seminars, etc.
  • Monitor and digest the regulatory updates under the supervision of the relevant Department of Corporate Office and disseminate the new enforced regulations to Engineering departments, surveyors, as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Knowledge of department related technical disciplines.
  • Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations and the impact of rule applications and interpretations.
  • Knowledge of company business policies and procedures.
  • The human relations skills necessary to maintain positive client contacts and to provide leadership and motivation to subordinate staff and peers.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop and implement logical solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to undertake short- and long-term planning to provide for efficient and effective scheduling of work assignments.
  • Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.

Minimum years of Experience:
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of experience preferred.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
