Our client is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's large scale export projects service the global demand for natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, the modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Engineer - Nitrogen Removal Unit located in Houston, TX with significant travel to Europe.

The Project Engineer is the focal point for the design and engineering execution, procurement of components, support of fabrication and installation and commissioning support upon arrival at site of the process modules.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engineering design reviews of process modules, HAZOPs, maintenance reviews, understanding of module logistics design, and constructability.

• Focal point for all RFI's between site teams and engineering for expedited response.

• Ensure process equipment is compliant with all company environmental and safety policies, understanding operating and permit limits to ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining maximum reliability and efficiency.

• Oversight of the contractor's procurement process of both tagged equipment and bulks to support module fabrication.

• Coordination between the OFE Contractor and EPC.

• Schedule assurance

Qualifications:

• Education and Certifications: Engineering Degree is required

• Experience: 10 -20 years of experience in project engineering, multi-discipline project engineering execution specifically in the gas processing or LNG industry.

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of process plant design, operations, systems, and equipment.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and with individuals and groups from different disciplines, industries and governmental agencies.

• Organized, planning skills, able to manage multiple activities and programs in timely fashion and with a high degree of accuracy, able to meet work deadlines.

• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.

• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
