Job Overview

Our client, who specialise in oil & gas decommissioning, have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join their team at their workshop in Aberdeen.

Your time will be split between the workshop and offshore, giving you the chance to learn from an experienced team in both environments.

In the workshop, you will get exposure to performing repairs on specialised equipment, while offshore you will get involved with the hands-on operations while the decommissioning work gets carried out.

Skills/Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC or higher ideally, disciplines related to mechanical engineering will also be taken into consideration)
• 0-3 years relevant work experience in a workshop environment (or similar)
• Any prior experience offshore would be of benefit (not essential)
• BOSIET (not essential)
