The Mud Logger will oversee all activities to ensure the most efficient and environmentally safe drilling fluid process. In so doing, the incumbent will coordinate and supervise all drilling fluid and waste management activities for drilling and completion operations. The incumbent will also have responsibility for drilling fluid programming and logistics, drill and completions fluid recycling and/ or disposal. Additionally, the position will ensure CEC compliance as it relates to Drilling and Completion fluids.
Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in managing complex high-end offshore mud systems both water based and oil based.
• Significant operations and programming experience for drilling and completions fluids.
• Familiar with fluids waste management technologies and options.
• Candidates must have High Temperature High Pressure (HTHP) experience as well as experience running

low pH water based systems used in drilling high differential wellbores in complex directional configurations.

• Woking knowledge of testing fluids using a Permeability Plugging Apparatus (PPA)
• A strong knowledge of drilled solids handling and control is necessary.
• Current knowledge of new and emerging technologies in waste management and government regulations pertaining to waste management.
• Ability to coordinate and manage logistical issues and practices related to fluids sourcing and delivery in support of drilling and completion operations.
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
