Role: Cad Operative

Location: Cheshire Nuclear site

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits + Car allowance

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Draughtsperson (CAD) who will be required to work on a permanent basis at the Client Site in Cheshire

Role Purpose:

The Senior Draughtsperson will be responsible for creating and implementing temporary mechanical & electrical building services design solutions for the Client's Common Building Services. Ensuring integration, technical assurance, compliance, health, safety, and sustainability of design and engineering for compliant defect-free handover within schedule and budget will be a key part of their role.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Generating 2D drawings for all disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Ventilation, and support solutions.
• Coordinating with the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor to ensure CDM requirements are met.
• Conducting space coordination, management, and clash avoidance for all disciplines.
• Supporting the Design Manager and contributing to design/construction reviews.
• Assessing and communicating design risks, ensuring they are considered in planning.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D, 3D, and Revit.
• At least 3 years' relevant experience as an MEP CAD technician in major projects.
• Strong communication, team collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, drawing revision, and issuing protocols.
