Our business
Our Oil & Gas Operator client are recruiting for a Operations Engineer to join their Great Yarmouth team.

Fantastic opportunity to work for a world renowned Oil & Gas Operator on a specific project to update and overhaul Plant Operating and Process Manuals. Excellent day rate, plus holiday accrual.

Key Responsibilities and background:

• Coordinate and execute POPM updates for Normally Unmanned Installations.
• Check redline markups from operations, check on completeness and quality, and update the POPMs accordingly .
• Act as action holder for implementation actions (projects & hardware modifications) related to POPM updates .
• Engage with Project Engineer and Operational Readiness/Commissioning Start Up team to manage timely POPM updates and upload into ASSAI Cloud before Statement of Fitness for projects and modifications .
• Engage relevant discipline Technical Authorities for reviewing and sign-off of POPMs .
• Deliver training and explanation of POPM updates to the control room staff.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:

• Seasoned Production Operations or Process Engineering professional with experience in upstream gas production
• Demonstrated experience in writing of technical documents, preferably Operating Manuals
• Project experience, either as operations representative or as commissioning engineer
• Require an associate's degree or equivalent (HNC/D) with experience in the field or in a related area.
• Proficient in commonly-used project management tools, methods and techniques, progress reporting methods and techniques, risk management and project planning and control techniques.
• Shows effective team leadership for small teams of up to 10 people.
