ABOUT:

Petroplan is recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a Houston-based energy company. The selected individual will play a crucial role in overseeing the development phases of a new LNG Facility. Familiarity with LNG Facilities, Pipelines, and cross-cultural regulatory landscapes is essential. Reporting to the Senior Director of Project Management in Houston, this role will require regular travel during project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive project management support throughout the FEED and EPC phases.
• Advocate for the project assurance program, encompassing gate reviews, risk mitigation planning, and assimilating lessons learned.
• Lead the definition of work scope and oversee engineering and construction contractors.
• Communicate project updates to diverse stakeholders, addressing strategy, risk mitigations, and progress.
• Contribute to formulating and executing strategies aligned with company objectives, considering technical, operational, and regulatory facets.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure the successful execution of project responsibilities.
• Manage and minimize changes in project scope and costs within the approved budget.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 15 years of pertinent experience managing capital projects (Brownfield and/or Greenfield) exceeding $500MM.
• Previous involvement in Mega Projects is advantageous.
• Possess a broad spectrum of capital project experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including cryogenic, gas plants, fractionators, and refining.
• Prior experience within an operating company is preferred.
• Exhibit strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Capable of effective collaboration in a team environment across various disciplines and nationalities.
• Proficiency in Spanish
• Demonstrate robust organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project site as required.
