Job Responsibilities

• Working to facilitate the development and effective implementation of Project Quality Management Systems by the Project Team in a manner that meets Worley and customer requirements.
• Facilitate the effective implementation of the Quality Management Systems in project teams to ensure it meets corporate, location and contractual requirements and is in line with the ISO 9001 standard.?????
• Training project personnel under their direction in the applicable project policies and procedures as written in the Project Assurance Plan/ Project Quality Plan
• Apply a risk-based approach to developing assurance planning and priority to corrective measures required to improve process implementation.
• Manage project quality activities including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, assessments and project quality reporting and review.
• Ensure that the customer's quality management requirements and concerns and the needs of multiple stakeholders are being identified and managed by the Project Team effectively.
• Facilitates the continuous improvement process by applying the lessons learned process and performing root cause analysis on quality events.
• Assist with supplier evaluation and negotiation to ensure quality of supplier practices, product and suitability of inspection and test programs. Ensures that quality requirements are included in subcontracts.
• Work closely with and draw on the resources of the global Worley Quality Community.
• Support to strengthen and coach junior quality personnel in their development.

Job requisites and experience

• Knowledge of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System - Requirements Standard
• Certified Lead Auditor
• You are a good leader, communicator, approach people and recognize strengths and weaknesses of the team
• Bridges the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers (interface management)
• Pro-active team player
• Desirable is experience with processes like Scrum, Agile and Lean, certified training is a bonus.
• A degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on plant and process engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering
• 10+ years relevant experience in a project management environment including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience
• Certified Internal Auditor
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
