Function description

Responsibilities:

• Ensure contractual requirements are clear for adequate Quality Assurance and Control

• Ensure Quality awareness in the project team

• Ensure readiness reviews are carried out at subcontractor sites/ yards

• Interact with project team in HAZIDS and HAZOPS

• Ensure compliance of quality related subcontractor's documents

• Forecast of man hours needed for the project Quality team

• Management of non-conformances

• Allocate and Coordinate Quality staff according to project requirements.

• Accountable for right performance of Quality staff on all project sites or yards

• Ensuring improvement activities are implemented on a QHSE level

• Creating a safe work environment for Quality staff

Tasks

• Prepare tender reviews and advice tender team in Quality matters

• Assist project team in Quality matters; QA and QC related

• Prepare Project QA documents (PQP, PQCP, Register set-up etc.)

• Project Quality reporting, periodically

• Initiate Project Quality meeting

• Attend risk sessions e.g. HAZID, HAZOP

• Conduct vendor audits, project driven

• Review of design package (SoW, constructability check, compliance with specs)

• Assist QC Supervisor with subcontractor readiness reviews

• Review (and approval) of Subcontractor documents

• Prepare risk based Project ITP

• Set up and maintain working files

• Monitor Quality staff and set up weekly meetings with them (including pre-inspection meetings)

• Providing input to Project Director/Manager w.r.t. Quality related items e.g. welding failure rating, NCR's, readiness reviews

• Close-out of NCR's

Requirements

• HBO technical degree

• Inspection experience

• GWO or Bosiet

• I.W.T. or I.W.E.

• Safety certificate e.g. VCA VOL

• NACE level 2 or 3, FROSIO 2 or 3 (if applicable)

• At least 10 years of strong experience in leadership and knowledge of project quality management activities, welding, NDT, coating, materials and strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and related standards
